Andrea Kubasch

I used to be a marketing manager in a big record company.

Andrea Kubasch

I used to be a marketing manager in a big record company. There I worked very closely with world stars like Madonna or Cher. At that time I always admired the sporty arms of the two of them. That’s why I started Yoga, the first stations were Bikram Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga. Through Aikido and various other yoga styles I ended up with Bryan Kest, the founder of Power Yoga. He is the teacher, mentor and friend who inspires me again and again.

My clients and friends say that my passion for yoga combined with music is contagious. Therefore I rely on my own practice, my finely selected music and intuition to give you a unique and holistic yoga experience in my yoga classes. I teach teacher training and workshops and am now known worldwide for my motivating and dynamic teaching style.

Jelena Liederberg

I started practicing yoga at age 12 with a croatian book from my mother. After working as a presentress for german tv and touring as a singer, I took my first yoga teacher training in 2009. I live in Berlin as a Yogainstructor, Writer, Naturopath, Speaker and mother of 2 wonderful girls. I love teaching workshops all around Europe with my own KICK ASS YOGA style and my first book introducing this style got published in 2017. After a training as Heilpraktikerin in 2012 I found my way on a holistic path encountering the Dorn/Breuss method, Tibetan Massage and Hypno-Therapy. Among my students are Yogis & Non-Yogis, Athletes and movers, who benefit most incorporating yogic ‘mobility’ with graceful movements gaining more awareness of their alignment and posture. My second book KICK ASS ASANAS is available in german & english including beautiful pieces by HEY HONEY.

Klara Puski

Klara is a Jivamuki teacher based in Paris

Klara Puski

Klara is a Jivamuki teacher based in Paris. Dancing since the age of five, she was always fascinated by the physical body & movement she completed her education at the Hungarian Dance Academy in classical ballet in Budapest and continued to work as a professional dancer. Then in early 2013 she tried Jivamukti Yoga in Munich which was a transformational discovery in which she happily remains immersed. By May 2014, she completed her teacher training in New York, with Jivamukti Yoga founders Sharon Gannon and David Life, under the mentorship of Giselle Mari.

Since returning, Klara has been steadily engaging classes around different studios in Paris and feels blessed to be able to teach she equally sees it as an opportunity to serve, share and learn. Finding an honest space through intelligent sequencing is what the asana practice represent for her. Creating a deeper connection with the present moment and allowing ourselves to pause to reflect is what is fascinating to her while we live in a world of multitasking and “wanting to get somewhere”. Feeling the moment in it’s depth to create a transformation.

“All of these practices lead us to the realization that this physical vehicle is “just that”, it is here for us to carry the eternal spirit , which is the everlasting piece that is life itself, and we all have that, all living things have it , the question is how do we recognize that we are all the same? How to honour myself the same way as I honour all living beings around? To accept that we all do the best we can while we are here ”

Karo Tak

Animal Rights Activist, Vegan Chef & Jivamukti Yoga Teacher

Karo Tak

Animal Rights Activist, Vegan Chef & Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Karo Tak has been travelling the world talking to people about activism, ahimsa, veganism and Jivamukti Yoga for over 6 years now.

In her own words:

I am an animal rights activist to the core. Who happens to teach Jivamukti Yoga, who happens to be a vegan chef, who happens to make her own vegan cheese but I am always the activist first. I have direct action hands on experience with saving animals, with putting myself and my life on the line for the cause. I live for this. Ahimsa is my daily drive of existence in this non ahimsa world. The practice of ahimsa shines through in all the work I do in Lisbon, in my work as a vegan chef (I ran my own vegan cafe in Lisbon and now cook for retreats, events, catering etc) in my Jivamukti Yoga Classes and with my own vegan cheese company: Gopal. Check: www.karotak.com

I am super excited to be a Hey Honey ambassador because the values of HH and mine are the same. Ahimsa baby! Its all about AHIMSA! Plus the style, uniqueness & shakti power of Hey Honey is something which just suits me and my personality perfectly. I am a proud new honey… thats for sure.

Heike Dittmers

Embracing your true power and then using it in a positive and beneficial way is yoga for me.

Heike Dittmers

Embracing your true power and then using it in a positive and beneficial way is yoga for me. The power to love, to forgive and to rise strong and reveil the true version of yourself. The practice is so incredibly rich and unique –  while I personally love physically challenging styles such as Ashtanga and Jivamukti Yoga – actually, I do believe that it does not matter what and how we practice, as long as it helps us to identify our patterns more clearly and sort out those that are no longer supportive. This unfolds our true self and helps us to step into our purpose and live our Dharma. I believe that yoga releases something. It challenges you to live your life fully. To show up. To be honest and to be true. Everyone has a special gift, his Dharma, which wants to be expressed. And if we dedicate our live to it – we help the vibration of the planet to rise up and rise strong. In my teachings I integrate my work as a Lifecoach. Therefore there is a strong emphasis and focus on dismantling old patterns and helping to invite new ones with fun and joy. Always connected with a passion for yoga philosophy and hands-on assists.

Sinah Diephold

Yoga is a beautiful compass for a life in balance and harmony with yourself, other beings and our planet. Sinah’s love for yoga came unexpectedly and through detours but quickly became her philosophy and fertile ground in all aspects of life. Her yoga style is flowing, inspired through her background as a dancer and influenced by her teacher Simon Park. Riding the waves of the breath, trusting the inert intuition and reawaken the intelligence of the body through yoga. Sinah is a true Munich spirit and has been teaching passionately for 15 years with positive energy and guides you through every sweaty flow with a smile. She just opened her own BodyMindTherapy Studio Kale & Cake in the heart of Munich.

Anja Kühnel

Anja Kühnel

Anja mainly teaches at the two Berlin Jivamukti Yoga Centers that she owns and directs.

If time allows, she accepts one of the many invitations to teach workshops worldwide. She also has been teaching intensive international Jivamukti Yoga retreats worldwide for a number of years now, often together with internationally renowned teachers like Sharon Gannon, David Life, Manorama and Dechen Thurman. Privately, she has a special interest in studying the teachings of Vedanta and Sanskrit and adopting rescued dogs.

Anja leads the 800-hour Jivamukti Yoga Apprenticeship Teacher Training program in Berlin where she has personally mentored and certified more than 40 Jivamukti Yoga apprentices over the past 10 years. She is regularly invited as a faculty or board member for the Jivamukti teacher trainings and Jivamukti Advanced board tests. In 2017, she was a facilitator together with David Life and Rima Rani Rabbath at the Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training in Costa Rica and in November 2018 she will co-facilitate together with Yogeswari the German Teacher Training on Chiemsee (Bavaria), which in 2013 she simultaneously translated from German into English for the non-German participants.

Anja discovered her passion for Jivamukti Yoga in 2000 while living in New York. Back then, she also met her teachers Sharon Gannon and David Life for the first time. Anja has been practicing yoga with teachers of various yoga styles and traveled the world to do so. But in her heart, she knew right after her first Jivamukti class, where she belongs.

Living as a Yogi for Anja means to try to balance the disequilibrium between herself as part of human civilization and the world as a whole. In her classes, Anja strives to emphasize the yogic tenet that none of our doings, whether they remain thoughts or are actually carried out, are without impact to our surroundings. The direction, in which the world turns, is in the hands of each and every one of us.

The love of life, of all beings, and this world as a whole are what motivate Anja to teach yoga. The path of yoga gives every single one of us the chance to grapple with our inner selves and to find the harmony within us that we are longing for.

Anja thanks her teachers Sharon Gannon, David Life and Patrick Broome, and all the other teachers she encounters every day.

Steph Jaksch

Steph Jaksch is one of the most famous yoga teachers in Germany

Steph Jaksch

Steph Jaksch is one of the most famous yoga teachers in Germany. She found her way to yoga years ago when she was travelling the world. Through her lifestyle as a well-booked model she early recognized that we have to keep the body healthy in order to be happy and successful. When she met her teachers Sharon Gannon and David Life she knew she had to become a teacher herself.

Steph then trained NYC Style Jivamukti Yoga and completed her training in 2003, followed by a continuing education in Munich with Patrick Broome and many international teachers like Mark Whitwell, Brian Kest and Gurmukh. Already in 2005 she gained her advanced teacher certificate. Through her praxis and various trainings she learned how to use the body to transform emotional topics and provide a faster personal growth.

She knows how to bring across her approach to the ancient techniques in her very sympathetic way. With a good portion of humor she guides in precision to detail and takes you by the hand to a journey of self-discovery. Steph teaches professional athletes, managers performance artists and entrepreneurs. With ElecricYoga she combines the elements of electronic music with a powerful asana practice and a good portion of fun.

She works mainly with Vinyasa Yoga and incorporates elements of Kundalini Yoga, functional training, breath awareness and meditation. Be the change you want to see in the world.Responsibility starts with the awareness of the moment – that’s what yoga is.

Steph is based in Berlin and teaches at Soho House. Look out for upcoming events of Electric Yoga.

Annika Isterling

At nineteen years old I started to work as a Model worldwide

Annika Isterling

At nineteen years old I started to work as a Model worldwide. Finding my way into yoga was a mixture of the desire of wanting to stay in shape and the need of finding a balance to a very outward pointed life. The practice gave me stability and calm in a very fast forward moving environment and self-confidence which was a struggle for me being judged on a daily base by my appearance. Yoga for me is not about showing off in fancy poses but accessing the simplest shape with full awareness and finding healing in the smallest movements As a yogateacher I enjoy inspiring people to practice yoga; especially those who never dared to do it or thought it wasn’t form them. My intention is to integrate modern livable spirituality into every day’s life. With my hash tag #itsallaboutconnection I manifest my dedication to get people more deeply connected to themselves, to their bodies, their heart and the people in their life.

Yoga is who you are. It is your natural state. What we can do are practices that, by revealing to us our resistance to existing in our natural state, may lead us to it.
